Enclosed Coastal Seas
Enclosed water bodies, such as lakes, reservoirs, bays and enclosed coastal seas are difficult places to preserve and improve water quality because pollutants tend to accumulate easily due to poor exchange of water with open water bodies. Inland seas and enclosed'coastal seas have been developing as fishery, industrial, transport and recreational areas. As a result, these areas are densely populated therefore easily polluted.
