要旨

日本の江戸時代（1620-1850）の人口はほぼ定常状態で、日本各地で持続可能な農業・漁業が営まれていた。本稿では、江戸時代の漁村における石干見・モク採り・魚付き林などの“里海”的あり方の事例を紹介し、それらを現代の沿岸海域統合管理＝コモンズ形成に生かす取り組みを提案する。
