objective

Kobe city, where we live, is located along the coast and must face the risks of future environmental change. Natural environments are changing due to various factors, and in order to understand their complex phenomena, it is necessary to conduct research from various aspects. This time, we are going to invite researchers from Japan and abroad, who have been studying coastal issues.
In Session 1, We will talk about the current status of ecosystems in coastal areas and their changes, and in Session 2, We will talk about marine plastics and nutrients, which have recently become popular.
